Meet Gia, a Pine Richland high school senior with a love for fashion. From the moment she reached out, she knew she didn’t want to follow the typical path. No grassy fields or boho vibes for her. Instead, she wanted something bold, stylish, and city-chic—something that felt like her. So we created a senior session that channeled editorial style in the heart of Pittsburgh.
Urban Style in the Steel City
We started the shoot in a location that would give us dramatic lighting—where Pittsburgh’s historic architecture meets the modern energy of the city. Gia arrived in an outfit that she selected from Diana Kauffman Designs- a boutique where she works with unique style. Once I picked up my camera, and looked through the image, I knew we nailed it and it was time to create something special for her.
We took full advantage of the city’s textures: marble staircases, dramatic doorways, and lush flower beds that lined beautiful churches. Gia owned every frame, laughing between shots and moving effortlessly from editorial poses to candid smiles.
