You can take beautiful photographs and still struggle to build a photography business.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “I know I’m capable of more, but I don’t know what to fix first,” you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re just getting started and need someone to help you build the right foundation.
Maybe you’ve been in business for years, but your income, systems, marketing, or client experience hasn’t caught up with your talent.
Or maybe you’ve reached that frustrating point where you’re busy—but not necessarily growing.
That’s where my photography mentoring and coaching comes in.
After more than 14 years in the photography industry, I’ve learned that becoming a successful photographer requires much more than learning your camera.
You need to understand how to:
That’s the difference between being a photographer and building a photography business.
And that’s what I want to help you do.
My approach to mentoring comes from years of actually running the business, not simply teaching photography theory.
I’ve worked through the seasons of figuring things out, making mistakes, changing strategies, refining my brand, improving my client experience, learning marketing, building systems, and figuring out what actually moves the needle.
My background also includes a Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum and a degree in Psychology, so teaching isn’t something I simply added to my photography business.
I genuinely love helping people understand why something works and how to apply it to their own business.
And I don’t believe your photography business should look exactly like mine.
My goal isn’t to create another version of me.
It’s to help you build a business that works for you.
Whether you’re brand new or you’ve been photographing clients for years, your challenges are going to look different.
That’s why my coaching isn’t a one-size-fits-all program.
You might need help answering questions like:
What should I charge?
What should my packages include?
How do I find my ideal client?
What should my website say?
How do I market myself?
How do I actually turn inquiries into bookings?
Starting with the right foundation can save you years of trying to piece everything together on your own.
Maybe you’re past the beginner stage.
You have clients. You have experience. You know how to photograph people.
But you’re ready for more.
More consistency.
More income.
Better clients.
A stronger brand.
A better workflow.
A more elevated client experience.
That’s where we can dig into the areas keeping you from your next level.
Your coaching can be customized around the areas where you need the most growth.
Stop reinventing the wheel every time you book a client.
We’ll look at your processes and identify ways to create systems that make your business more efficient and organized.
If you’re tired of wondering “What should I post today?”, we’ll create a strategy behind your marketing so you’re not simply creating content for the sake of creating content.
Your website should do more than look pretty.
We’ll look at how you’re positioning your business, the words you’re using, and how you can improve your visibility so potential clients can actually find you.
You created beautiful artwork.
Now you need to know how to confidently present it and guide your clients through the purchasing process.
We’ll talk about the psychology behind sales, pricing, collections, and creating an experience that doesn’t feel pushy.
Want to take your images to another level?
We can work through lighting, posing, composition, direction, and the decisions that turn an ordinary portrait into something intentional and elevated.
Your brand isn’t just your logo.
It’s the entire experience your client has—from the first time they find you to the moment they receive their finished artwork.
We’ll look at how to create an experience that attracts the type of client you actually want to work with.
Let’s be clear:
This isn’t for someone who simply wants photography to be a fun side hobby.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with photography as a hobby.
But my mentoring is designed for photographers who are thinking:
“I want to build something real.”
You want to make money doing what you love.
You want to create a business—not just collect followers.
You want to attract clients who value your work.
You want to stop guessing.
And you want someone who can look at what you’re doing and help you identify what needs to change next.
You don’t have to figure out every piece of your photography business through trial and error.
Sometimes the fastest way forward is having someone who’s already been through it sit beside you and say:
“Here’s what I would change.”
That’s what mentoring is about.
Not giving you a giant checklist and sending you on your way.
Real conversation. Real strategy. Real feedback. Real business growth.
Enrollment for my next mentoring and coaching opportunities is limited, so I can give each photographer the attention and feedback they need.
