This little one celebrated her first birthday with me in the studio recently. She was all smiles and was happy to play dress up as her mom and I created several setups and looks to capture this special time. Seriously, what is more fun?!

It’s so hard to choose a favorite from this session. So, I included several images from each setup we did. I love this stage as 12 month olds crawl, learning to clap with excitement, climbing and using the chair as a walker, sweet little looks as they play. Documenting this stage for them to look back on is one of my goals.

Each session begins with a consult to discuss the overall style and colors to incorporate. For this session, mom wanted to include a Fall setup along with carrying the same colors from the first newborn session. My goal is to create a setup that is timeless and put the focus on the baby. I love romantic styles and incorporate that through the backdrop and lightning.
