Photography for me is so much more than just taking photographs. I love that it gives me the ability to create and interact with so may amazing people in and around the Pittsburgh, PA area. My clients each are so special to me. I ‘m grateful for each and everyone who trust me with telling their story through photographs.

Every session begins with a conversation. This is where I get to learn about my clients. The first conversation allows me to learn about what they envision for their session as well as mixing in what and how I can create a look. Maternity sessions are one of my favorites to photograph because it gives me a chance to create something special for my clients that makes them feel beautiful. Let’s be honest, pregnancy isn’t always so glamorous. It can be tough and challenging. Taylor made pregnancy look like a dream.

Taylor inquired about scheduling her maternity session. She wrote down in her questionnaire that she wanted neutral tones and was ready for anything I had. I started shopping for beautiful fabric to create a draping look out of one piece of fabric. I also wanted to create a more editorial look for her with the black and white images. To say she nailed this session is an understatement. Thank you, Taylor for allowing me to run with some ideas.

I’m thrilled to be able to share her images today on the blog after her viewing appointment. It’s now time for me to create her artwork…which is another fun part of what I do in the studio. In a few shorts months, I get to meet their little girl for her newborn session.
