Every now and then, I get asked to do a photo session that isn’t newborn related. When my bother-in-law and future sister-in-law approached me shortly after their engagement about doing their engagement session, I was already planning where and when. Everyone loves outdoor Fall pictures in PA and I’m no different. From my experience I have learned that shooting Fall outdoor sessions at the end of September is best. I have a private location that I hold all my outdoor photo sessions on and its beautiful with rolling hills views and Fall elements in nature. The warm sunsets are so dreamy.

The next step was to begin styling. These two have a great sense of style. After sending some suggestions and idea boards we agreed on the look and style. Now we just needed a beautiful evening with a warm sunset. Man, did we get lucky with the weather.

The evening of the session was beautiful- hot and muggy but just perfect. We packed a cooler full of drinks and I grabbed my camera bag and boom speaker. We had a blast as I instructed them to follow my silly prompts. We ended up with more than I can count. I think I ended up editing over 600 images.

I plan to create a personalized guest book using their favorite images. I’m so happy that these images will be something for not only them but their children to look back on in the future. Best wishes you two!
